The trained lawyer is known for her broad experience in various areas of real estate project development. With Lichner Projects GmbH, she has been working with institutional investors as well as wealthy private individuals and project developers/property developers on commercial real estate, hotels and residential projects for around 15 years.

Currently, she sees great potential in the development of ecologically sustainable commercial real estate for SMEs. At GreenPlaces - modular commercial halls in timber construction - she is involved in the property development and accompanies the market entry of the Swiss company in Germany.

As managing director of the German Fay Group, she realized sophisticated office projects in Frankfurt. Her personal highlight there was the development of the deluxe hotel "Villa Kennedy" (link), which received high-profile recognition in the form of the MIPIM Award. 

She gained insights into finance at Bayerische Bank in Munich.

She is familiar with local politics as the former managing director of an economic development corporation.

Beate Lichner has been a member of the investment committee of a major pension fund for around 15 years as a real estate expert. She is a member of the board of directors of a technically innovative medium-sized company.

She is admitted to the German Bar and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and of wipswiss, the "Women in property Switzerland association".

She has been listed several times in "Who is Who - The 100 Heads of the Swiss Real Estate Industry".
